Mr. Jc Srinivasan has specialized in intensive and super intensive farming of the white shrimp L.vannamei and the tiger shrimp P. monodon. He is with more than 17 years of experience in commercial farming of marine shrimps. After his university studies and specialization in shrimp farming technology, he has been working for various commercial aquaculture projects in the very heart of shrimp farming industry in India. His achievement include sustainable production of more than 21 mt/ha/crop of L. vannamei and 16 mt/ha/crop of the tiger shrimp P. monodon that has earned him recognition in the commercial shrimp farming industry.

As a chief technical manager and farm consultant, he has contributed his services from site selection, farm design, pond preparation, stocking, water quality, disease and feed management till harvest. His core concentration is on intensive and super intensive culture systems and has achieved FCR of 1:1.2. As a free-lance consultant, he has vast experience in providing technical guidance to coastal shrimp farming community in India.
